Connect CxAlloy to your schedule, dashboards, and AI assistant
CxAlloy is where your commissioning field data lives. CxLens connects to your CxAlloy instance using your CxAlloy API credentials and pulls that data into live dashboards, schedule connections, and an AI assistant. Your field team keeps working in CxAlloy exactly as they do today.
What syncs from CxAlloy
The data your team records in the field becomes the foundation for everything else in CxLens.
Checklists
Completion status and history for every checklist, so progress is tracked from the data your field team already records.
Issues
Open and closed issues, including the custom fields configured in your CxAlloy instance.
Equipment
Equipment records and tags, so every checklist and issue stays tied to the equipment it belongs to.
Systems and subsystems
Your system and subsystem hierarchy, so you can group and filter the way your project is organized.
How the connection is set up
- 01
Review your CxAlloy configuration
In the free discovery call we look at how your CxAlloy instance is set up, including your custom fields and the reporting you need from it.
- 02
Enter your API credentials once
You provide your CxAlloy API credentials during project setup. From that point on, CxLens handles the syncing. Client keys and API credentials are handled securely.
- 03
Map your custom fields
If your team tracks project-specific data in custom fields, we map them during implementation so they are available in dashboards and in AI assistant questions.
- 04
Choose how often it syncs
Sync frequency is configurable. Most projects use a daily automated sync, with an on-demand refresh available when you need current data right now.
Integrations are configured during your implementation engagement. If you need to add or change one after go-live, your CxLens team handles it. See how an engagement works.
What you can do with your CxAlloy data
See it in dashboards
Checklists, issues, and equipment in live dashboards, with planned versus actual progress and program-level rollups, instead of a filtered export.
Insights & reporting →Tie it to the schedule
Link CxAlloy checklists to P6 or MS Project activities, so a schedule update shows which commissioning work is affected.
Schedule connection →Ask it questions
Ask what is blocking a system or which checklists are behind, and get answers from your live CxAlloy checklists, issues, and equipment records.
Agentic commissioning assistant →CxLens and CxAlloy, side by side
CxAlloy handles the ground-level work: issue tracking, checklist execution, punch lists, and equipment logs. What it does not do is know what your project schedule says, or turn a program's worth of records into the answer to a question like “what is blocking Phase 1 startup?”
CxLens uses CxAlloy data as one input. You keep the tool your team already knows, and CxLens adds the schedule connection, the reporting, and the assistant. If you are weighing the different kinds of commissioning tools, these two guides explain how they fit together: what is building commissioning software and commissioning software compared.
