CxLens integrations: CxAlloy, Oracle P6, and MS Project
CxLens brings data from the tools your team already uses into one view, in two ways: a credentialed sync from CxAlloy for your field data, and schedule files you export from P6 or MS Project and upload.
Synced from your account
CxAlloy
Your commissioning field data: checklist completion status and history, open and closed issues including custom fields, equipment records and tags, and your system and subsystem hierarchy. You enter your CxAlloy API credentials once during setup, and CxLens handles the syncing from there. The sync frequency is configurable, typically a daily automated sync with an on-demand refresh.
CxAlloy integration →Ingested from schedule files
Oracle P6 and MS Project
You export the schedule and upload it. CxLens parses the file, rebuilds the schedule in the platform, and runs a schedule health check. Every new revision is compared with the last, so you can see what moved.
- Oracle P6: .xer exports from P6 Professional and P6 EPPM
- Microsoft Project: .xml exports from MS Project 2016 and later
How integrations are set up
Integrations are configured during your implementation engagement. In the free discovery call we review your CxAlloy configuration and custom fields, and how your P6 or MS Project schedule is structured and how often it updates. If you need to add or change an integration after go-live, your CxLens team handles it. See how an engagement works.
What stays the same
CxLens does not replace CxAlloy, and your field team keeps working in it as they do today. It also does not keep a live link into your scheduling tool, so schedule updates follow your scheduler's cadence, and each issued revision becomes an upload.
Once the data is in, it powers the schedule connection, the dashboards and reports, and the AI assistant.
