How CxLens works with your commissioning management software

CxLens is a technical services engagement. We build it around your projects, KPIs, and terminology, using data from the tools your team already runs.

What CxLens does

Your checklists, issues, and equipment live in a commissioning management tool like CxAlloy. Your plan lives in a project schedule in Oracle P6 or Microsoft Project. Answering a simple question, such as what is blocking Phase 1 generator startup, usually means opening several views and building a pivot table.

CxLens brings those sources into one live view. Your field team keeps working in CxAlloy, and CxLens adds independent planning dates, automatic schedule variance, dashboards built around your KPIs, and an assistant you can ask questions in plain English.

Every commissioning program is set up differently, so CxLens starts as an engagement, not a sign-up flow. It runs in three stages.

The three stages of an engagement

  1. 01

    Discovery call

    Free · 30-60 minutes

We review your current commissioning workflow, data sources, and reporting needs. You'll leave with insights on improving your process, even if you don't move forward with CxLens.

    • ✓Your CxAlloy configuration and custom fields
    • ✓P6/MS schedule structure and update frequency
    • ✓Current pain points in reporting and planning
    • ✓Specific dashboards and metrics you need
  2. 02

    Custom implementation

    1-3 months · technical services

We build the platform around your environment, configured to your data sources and KPIs.

    • ✓Dashboards built around your KPIs
    • ✓CxAlloy connection and P6 or MS Project schedule import
    • ✓Historical data migration and validation
    • ✓AI assistant set up with your commissioning terminology
    • ✓Team training and documentation
  3. 03

    Ongoing partnership

    Monthly fee per project

After go-live, the monthly fee covers unlimited users, automatic data sync, dashboard updates, and priority support.

    • ✓Unlimited users across your organization
    • ✓Automatic data sync from all connected sources
    • ✓Dashboard updates and refinements
    • ✓Priority technical support and platform updates

How CxLens is priced

Pricing follows the same three stages. There are no per-seat licenses, and no published price list, because the scope of an implementation depends on your environment. The first conversation is free, and you get a project-specific quote from there.

Discovery call

Free

A 30-60 minute call at no cost and no obligation. You leave with insights about your process whether or not you move forward.

Custom implementation

Quoted per project

Scope depends on how many data sources you connect, how much historical data comes across, and how customized the dashboards need to be, so we quote it after the discovery call.

Ongoing partnership

Monthly fee per project

The fee follows the number of active projects, not headcount.

What CxLens connects to

Implementation starts from the tools you already use. During discovery we review your CxAlloy configuration and custom fields, and how your P6 or MS Project schedule is structured and how often it updates.

Common questions

Can we run a pilot or proof of concept first?
Yes. For larger organizations or complex deployments, we can scope a 30-60 day paid pilot on a single project or use case, so you can test it before committing.
What if we're not happy during implementation?
We have milestone-based review points. If at any point you're not satisfied with the progress, we'll work to address your concerns or provide a partial refund based on the work completed.
Can we cancel the ongoing monthly fee?
Yes, with 30 days' notice. There are no long-term contracts, so if CxLens isn't working for you, you can walk away.
What happens to our data if we cancel?
You own your data. We'll provide a full export in standard formats (CSV, JSON) and maintain read-only access for 60 days after cancellation to support your migration.
What if our needs change after implementation?
Minor dashboard adjustments are included in monthly support. Major new features or data sources would be scoped as additional implementation work, typically 1-4 weeks depending on complexity.
Is CxLens a commissioning tool?
No. CxLens works alongside your existing commissioning software, like CxAlloy, and reads your P6 or MS Project schedule files to add planning, schedule variance, and reporting. You keep the tools you already use.
Is our data secure?
Yes. Data is encrypted, sign-in uses a one-time code sent to your email, access is role-based, and client keys and API credentials are handled securely.
